PINE LAKE ASSOCIATION NEWS...
ANNUAL HOA MEETING
***Pine Lake Homes Association Ballot***
We had great feedback from our community members at the Pine Lake Homes Association annual meeting, October 24, 2017. For those that were not able to attend the meeting, we are providing the opportunity for your electronic vote on the ballet listed below. Feel free to respond via the Contact Info form to the right or Email your response to: President@PineLakeHomesAssociation.info the following two agenda items, by November 1, 2017.
Agenda item one: Homes Association dues to be reduced from $220.00 per year to $190.00 per year.
Agenda item two: Approve a one-year contract with First Service Residential homes association management firm.
NOTE: Regardless of bringing the management firm on, dues will still be reduced to $190.00 for calendar year 2018. Current, as well as past, board members advocated for the need of a management company for the growth of our community. A representative from First Service Residential was in attendance to address business and community concerns. It was the consensus of all in attendance that this would benefit the Pine Lake Homes Association. To ensure this is a community decision we are reaching out to those that could not be in attendance and asking for your vote either for or against the above agenda items.
Ice Thickness Guidelines:
For new, clear ice only 2" or less - STAY OFF
4" - Ice fishing or other activities on foot
5" - Snowmobile or ATV
8" - 12" - Car or small pickup
12" - 15" - Medium truck
Many factors other than thickness can cause ice to be unsafe.
White ice or "snow ice" is only about half as strong as new clear ice. Double the above thickness guidelines when traveling on white ice.
***The Pond at Pine Lake "IS NOT" for iceskating or crossing by foot***
